Program and Activities

Each morning features a Sports & Fitness session (6:00–9:00 AM) on the campus courts and fields. Coaches lead team games including Cricket, Basketball, Football, Volleyball, Badminton, and track Athletics. For example, the camp’s indoor stadium (shown above) has multiple courts where campers train in basketball, badminton, and other sports. After lunch, Indoor & Skills workshops run from 10:00 AM–3:00 PM. These sessions include Archery, Shooting, Mallakhamb, Dancing, Swimming, and a Personality Development segment. Youth learn new skills such as aim and focus through archery and shooting, flexibility and strength through Mallakhamb (a traditional pole exercise), and creativity through dance and arts.

In the afternoon (3:00–6:00 PM) campers return to outdoor sports practice. The schedule repeats many of the morning team sports. On the large turf fields shown above, groups play more Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Badminton, and athletics drills. Alongside coaches and mentor guidance, each session reinforces teamwork and physical fitness. The camp provides all required sports equipment, but participants should bring personal items like a water bottle, sports shoes, and extra clothing for these activities. (A suggested checklist includes a backpack, towel/swimwear, napkins, drawing kit, fruits or juice, and a water bottle.)

Weekends are reserved for Adventure activities beyond the sports fields. Campers can try Rock Climbing, River Crossing, Trekking, Zip-lining, Campfire gatherings, and Horse Riding. These excursions take place on or near the campus grounds under staff supervision. All adventure gear and safety equipment are provided. As an example of the facilities, the photo above shows a cricket practice session, but similar fields are used for team-building challenges. The weekend program is designed to be age-appropriate and encourages confidence by taking on controlled outdoor challenges.

The Sports School campus includes tennis and basketball courts as well, highlighting its broad athletic infrastructure. In total, campers have access to dozens of courts, fields and indoor halls. When not in competition or practice, children use these spaces for warm-ups, conditioning and skill drills. For instance, after sports sessions they may participate in campfire evenings or supervised free play on these courts. The campus is fully secured, and staff ensure safety during all activities.

Cultural and Educational Sessions

In addition to physical activities, the camp curriculum includes daily 45-minute Vedic interactive sessions on Indian cultural knowledge. These seminars cover a broad range of topics, as outlined by the organizers:

  • Vedic Discussions: Principles from Vedic Balashiksha and Satyartha Prakash (traditional philosophy and practical ethics).

  • Epic History: Stories and lessons from the Vedic Ramayana and Vedic Mahabharatha, along with Bharath Brihat Itihas (Greater Indian history).

  • Ethics & Philosophy: Teachings from Chanakya Neeti and Bartruhari Neeti, and the concept of Pancha Mahabhutas (five elements).

  • Language & Literature: Basic Sanskrit language, overview of Vedic Sahitya (scriptures and literature).

  • Foundational Wisdom: Introductions to the four Vedas, the six orthodox schools (Shat Darshan), and the eleven main Upanishads.

  • Cultural Values: The sixteen Samskaras (rites of passage), traditional values like Matrudevobhava (reverence for the mother) and Pitru Devo Bhava (reverence for the father), and concepts like Gokarna Nidhi (sacred wealth).

These sessions are interactive, with stories and discussions. Campers consolidate their learning through brief quizzes and a final Stage Performance on the topics. The goal is to build cultural awareness, ethics, and life skills as part of a holistic education.

Facilities, Meals and Safety

The camp prioritizes camper health and supervision. A 24/7 medical team is on site, including an on-call doctor and first-aid staff. Security is maintained by trained guards and continuous CCTV monitoring of all premises. Entry to the campus is controlled (students carry ID cards and gate passes for visitors). All activity areas and dining spaces are kept clean and sanitized, and meals are prepared in hygienic conditions. Drinking water and fresh juices are provided throughout the day.

  • Sanitation: Facilities and equipment are cleaned daily; handwashing stations and health checks are part of routines.

  • Mentor Ratio: Staff ensure a 1:15 mentor-to-child ratio for close supervision.

  • Transport: Optional pickup/drop-off shuttle service is available at extra cost from designated points.

The daily dietary plan is strictly vegetarian. Meals include pure vegetarian breakfast, lunch, and snacks; bottled water and fresh juice are served with each meal. (No dinner is provided, as campers return home by 6 PM.)

Camp Essentials

Campers should pack all personal gear before arrival. Suggested items include:

  • Backpack and sports kit (shoes, practice clothing)

  • Towel or swimsuit for swimming sessions

  • Nutrition: fruits, dry snacks, and a water bottle

  • Personal items: napkins, drawing kit, and extra clothing

  • Every item must be clearly labeled with the child’s name or ID number.

Camp Benefits

The program is designed to support overall child development. Organizers note that campers gain “essential life skills, build confidence, and create lifelong friendships”. In practice, participants often:

  • Build Skills: Improve athletic abilities and learn new talents (sports, arts, crafts).

  • Gain Confidence: Overcome challenges and fears in a safe environment.

  • Foster Independence: Practice responsibility and decision-making during activities.

  • Enhance Teamwork: Learn cooperation, communication, and respect through group activities.

  • Boost Creativity: Engage in arts, dance and problem-solving games.

  • Make Friends: Share experiences with peers from diverse backgrounds, often forming friendships.

  • Learn Values: Connect with India’s cultural heritage and traditional values (the camp draws on the Arsha Vidya Parampara, an ancient teaching system).

According to the American Camp Association, day camps can provide development benefits similar to overnight camps. This program aims to give busy families a way for children to gain those benefits without staying away from home.

The 21-day program is offered at a flat fee of ₹50,000. This all-inclusive fee covers professional coaching, adventure activities, meals, and safety provisions. A registration form and deposit are required to secure a spot. Spaces are limited and often fill up quickly.
